a "good" friend

What I think is a true friend. I think a true friend is someone who is selfless enough to understand when their friend needs space, time to be alone. A true friend is one who is confident enough in themselves so they don't need to cling to their friend. Because when you are true friends, you don't need constant reassurance, because really, what happens when you do that. Suffocation that inevitably leads you to not being able to stand one another. So that's why I personally feel a working relationship isn't so damn sensitive.

What is the fun in a friendship that's always mopey weepy? If that's the definition of a "real" friendship, then maybe I don't want a real friendship at all. Because you know what? I want to be your friend, not your psychologist. If laughing nonstop, eating junkfood until I can't breath, singing and dancing like we're the hottest people on earth, and bringing each other up so high that we don't have to worry about the downs considered an inadequate friendship, than may I die with enough inadequacy to butter-spread my entire life.
