Sigh of relief~

Even though there is still a helluva lot of work I should be doing, I feel so relaxed right now. I am basking in my small victories alone. I'm so calm-ishly happy that I can even acknowledge the fact that the reasons why might not be as great as they seem. Here are two examples as to what I'm talking about:

1. I actually think I did ok on the ACT. // I am going to find out later that I did shit on it, but I feel good for now!

2. Prom // I am going to find out my mom won't let me sleepover after the dance and will continue to ground me afterwards, which will make me really sad.

But you know what, I'm not going to brood over these possibilities and just enjoy them at face value. No point in getting depressed over things that haven't even happened yet. It's ok to indulge in over-optimism every once in awhile.

It's kind of good for you sometimes.
