oh, trying

Not once has trying ever paid off for me. I'm not even being dramatic. Any change that did happen when I put in effort wasn't much different from when I didn't try at all.

Perseverance isn't in my vocabulary and let's be honest, you can't "teach an old dog, new tricks" It's impossible for me to pick up that skill at this point. I will always quit on whatever I'm doing, and I really can't help that.

That's just my personality. Anyone who's ever tried to change themselves know it's pretty much impossible, and requires a hell of a lot of determination. Determination = perseverance. So if I'm trying to become a person with perseverance, but I need it to achieve itself... Obviously that's not going to work. Yeah. Let's just be realistic here now.
