I have a trick so that you are never disappointed by people. I'm going to share it with you, okay?

Don't ever rely on one person for everything. Your thoughts, feelings, needs, wants. To listen, make you happy, to have fun times with.

Rather, divvy up these tasks among many people. Have a person whom you can exchange philosophies and emotions with, but don't count on them to be any fun. Hang with someone who makes you happy and is fun to be around, but don't trust them to truly fulfill your needs and more deeper wants.

If done correctly, I think it's a pretty smooth system. Yes, yes. Everyone would rather have "a few close friends than many friends," but when everyone is too busy or just aren't capable of doing that... Do everyone a favor. Spread your expectations thin across many people. You're happier, and everyone else is happier too.
